Ungrievable Lives, New Chapel, Oxford University - 13 dresses handmade from lifejackets the artist gathered from the Lifejacket Graveyard, Lesvos. Each dress represents 1 of the 13 million child refugees worldwide. The installation has been touring Europe - the Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg; Wigmore Hall, London; Vienna Konzerthaus; Kuhmo Festival, Finland; Sante Fé Music Festival and Berlin, together with the string quartet it inspired composed by Charlotte Bray and played by the Castalian String Quartet
Precarious, video with soundscape from the refugee camps, the sea, the people … filmed on location in the Aegean Sea between the coast of Lesvos, Greece and Turkey where more than 20,000 people have been reported dead or missing since 2014 as they attempt the treacherous boat journey to Europe, fleeing war, persecution and poverty.
